- Our cables are made of 100% bare copper wire as opposed to copper clad aluminum (CCA) wire, therefore fully compliant with UL Code 444, which require pure bare copper wire in Cat6 communications cables. Our Cat6 patch and bulk cables are used by data centers around the world.

I bought this brand of cable because most of the reviews said it worked without problems out of the package. This compared to others which were a few dollars cheaper and seemed hit or miss. I think I made the right move.The cable came quickly and was as pictured with snagless ends. It feels like a high quality cable. Compared to my other cat6 cables it seems as if the outer jacket is a bit thinner or perhaps a bit tighter. The cable came neatly coiled and it took a bit of work to uncoil it and get it to lay straight. It passed my cable tester diagnostic (which only tests that the cable is wired correctly with no open/shorts). I have installed it and works fine so I'm happy.If you want to know about performance I have no data. I can only trust that the printing on the cable is correct. There is quite a bit of info here:"Cable Matters RoHS Compliant Enhanced 550Mhz Patch Cord E213738-V 24AWG 4PR CM (UL) C(UL) 60ºC Verified ISO/IEC 11801 and TIA/EIA 568B Cat6"So you have RoHS or that it meets hazardous material restrictions, Patch Cord is self explanatory, the speed it's rated for 550Mhz, don't know what E213738-V is, the wire size 24AWG, full 4 pairs of wire (required for cat 6), UL certified, ISO/IEC 11801 a general spec for a telecommunications cable, 568B wire pattern and that it meets the Cat 6 spec ... .For the price ... a bargain ... Hope this helps.

Not much else to say, this cable works and seems to be of good quality. I'm not stressing it's limits of throughput, just using it to connect my smart tv to the router in the basement and it's working fine.Could have used a couple extra feet, but that's my measuring, not the cable!
