I own a PC that i payed atleast that or then some of a minimum wage pay check. and I needed a decent cable to reach atleast 3 room's away. This get's the job done and then some. I've had no problems yet. It is a very sturdy cord and a very thick one and heavy at that. I rated at 4 stars because the package its self was very very dirty. Not sure if this was the shippers or UPS doing.But at the price you buy it for, you cannot beat it.

This cable appears to be better quality than most cables that I have purchased in the past. The cable is thicker and has good quality protectors on the tabs and seems to be better quality overall.

I remember the old days of buying Spools of Ethernet Cable and having to know the pinouts for either the network devices or phone systems that would be wired with this. The process wasn't complete without finishing the product with correctly wired and terminated RJ45 Cat Connectors using the essential RJ-45 Strip and Crimp Tool. What time was spent with this! What a difference being able to simply order cables like this as needed. They come in much better quality and diverse sizes. For sometime now, thankfully, it has not paid to do any of this yourself. In fact, with the speeds of Cat6 let's leave it to the pros like Cable Matters. I used one of these last week to extend our network in a matter of minutes. Times have changed!

I find this cable (it's only been a week so ...) better than most cable we have purchased in the past (the light blue stuff just falls apart literally, the protective jacket simply shreds in the weirdest fashion (I should take pictures so you'll not order and make the mistake of investing in such temporary crap).But as for this cable....it is thicker, I like the protectors on the tabs....just seems better made. P.S. we're a computer repair store and we go through a lot of this stuff. If this holds up I'll be ordering another half dozen of these from this seller.amen

Cables work great, easy to disconnect, great design of the "snagless boots" on the connectors.

These Cables work great. Unlike the Cat-6 Snagless Ethernet Patch Cables from another competitor, the cables from Cable Matters have "snagless boots" on the connectors that are easy to disconnect from all my devices.I have found that those from one of their competitors to be very difficult to disconnect from several of my network devices due to excessive "stiffness" of the "Snagless-type booted moldings".These cables from Cable Matters to me are worth the extra dollar each just to eliminate the extra hassle when I need to disconnect a patch cable from a network device.

It Works and appears to be well made.What else can you say about a cable.....Wired to my router and connected to a desktop Ethernet connection in another room.Wow...what a difference with a Gigabyte connection versus my router speeds.Getting all the best of my cable connection has to offer.Pricing was excellent.Delivery very fast.
