Defective wire in the cable

We spent hours running the cable only to find out one wire had larger insulation (defective) and would not fit properly. The solution we were given was to strip the wire and it would work... well yes, but that was not an acceptable solution for us for our use. We said we would return it, but were turned down since it was cut - and they would not be able to resell it! They should not be reselling defective product anyways. In the end we wasted hours running and removing the cable to be given a 20% credit. We ordered from another supplier and it is FINE!

Not Pure Copper, But Copper Clad Aluminum

You'e looking at bulk wire because you will be pulling a lot wire for yourself or customers - - but using cheaper CCA wire such as this, you will build in inferior performance that isn't the rated Cat 6. OK for yourself, but is a deceitful practice for your customers.

This is a solid, (as opposed to stranded), type of cabling, so it's easy to work with and to terminate with an RJ45 / 8P8C plug. I'd have some doubts about the signal quality at 250MHz after 100+ft, but for shorter runs it performs flawlessly.

spindle does not stick even when pulling cable from 50 ft away and around the corner. The plastic divider in the middle of the cable is a welcome surprise: it makes the cable stiffer and creates a separation between your twisted pairs for easy crimping

standard CAT6, 1000 feet, great price. cheaper packaging - the cable is machine wound - no rotating mechanism to feed cable out, need to be more careful when pulling cable out - not problem, good trade off since it is lower price!
