- This Cat6 cable supports up to 550 MHz and is suitable for 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX (Fast Ethernet), 1000BASE-T / 1000BASE-TX (Gigabit Ethernet) and 10GBASE-T (10-Gigabit Ethernet).
- Our cables are made of 100% bare copper wire as opposed to copper clad aluminum (CCA) wire, therefore fully compliant with UL Code 444, which require pure bare copper wire in Cat6 communications cables. Our Cat6 patch and bulk cables are used by data centers around the world.

I bought this packet of CAT6 ethernet cables at 12" long for my Netgear GS108, 8-Port Ethernet Switch in my Cable Box. The cables were packaged well for shipping and all the cables came in a plastic bag, with each cable then in its own plastic bag. The cables are working well and I am very happy with the variety of colors allowing me to color code my ports...however one thing to note is that the necks of the CAT6 cables are much stiffer and thus longer than CAT5 cables. As such I am just barely able to close the cable box door as they definitely PROTRUDE from the point of insertion and only begin to fold and or bend about 2" out so you may want to factor this into the equation of where they will be used and or how they will be placed.

The colors are helpful with those short patches to the router. Actually, they look better more than being helpful but they do help in a tight location.
