I was having some serious issues not being able to download photos I need for my work. Then, I decided to try hardwiring my computer to my router- one floor down and at the other end of the house- and have had great results. I worried that using such a long cable would degrade my up and download speeds but they're tight up where fios says they should be- actually my upload speed is even higher. I recommend not only this cable but also hardwiring your computer to your router if you face similar problems.

Snagless cables are the way to go. These were of pretty good quality and it has held up well. Although, I would NOT recommend this for repeated disconnects -- I don't think the clip would hold up long term.

This cable worked great. I ran it accross my whole house. I rated it 4 stars because the first one a got did not work and I had to return it. Make sure you check it before you run it to where it needs to go. I have read other reviews with other people who had the same problem.I returned it and got another one that worked fine. Great for long distance and even though it's a long wire it did not effect onternet speed much at all. Defiantly my first choice for long distance connections.
