- Our cables are made of 100% bare copper wire as opposed to copper clad aluminum (CCA) wire, therefore fully compliant with UL Code 444, which require pure bare copper wire in Cat6 communications cables. Our Cat6 patch and bulk cables are used by data centers around the world.

In my IT Support practice I keep cables in stock. Cable Matters Cat6 cables have provided excellent service. They perform reliably and hold up well to frequent plug-in, and unplug cycles.The anti-snag strain-relief is well designed for the tight spaces on some computer's LAN jacks. You can slide the rubber anti-snag on the hood to the side to depress in the release tab in tight spaces. Good design.These seem more flexible than most CAT6 cables I have been using. This makes them better for patch use in an office environment.The cables are well made and I've had great luck with Cable Matters Cat6 cables in the past. Plus in a 5 Pack they are very economical! All that adds up to 5 stars from me.

Regarding Cable Matters 5-Pack, Cat6 Snagless Ethernet Patch Cable in Red 14 Feet. Suppose to have 5 packs of cables (in their own bags) within a single bag. Unfortunately, there were only 3 individual bags within the master bag. Customer service has been a tremendous assistance in resolving this issue. Otherwise, great product.
