I bought this, even though I really only wanted about 2-3 to have handy, because of the price per unit. What's more, it came with a 16th one, which was a pleasant surprise! Overall, simple coupler, hard to mess up, and should work as intended.

RJ-45 coupler (I'm sure I spelled that wrong)...they work as advertised. Wish they were all white instead of an off white, but it wasn't worth $10 for 5 less to get all white.

Worked for me. Only decent construction and Cat5e cable does not click into place. However, they worked like a charm. Little pricey considering the quality of the product.Edit: Half of them don't work. One of my connections was to my vonage device and call quality was atrocious. Switched it out for another connector (part of the same pack) and it worked. Only expect half of them to work properly.

I did a review for Cat6 Snagless Ethernet 14 Feet Patch Cables and Cat6 Snagless Ethernet 50 Feet Patch Cables. In both, I mention that we should not make cables any more, just buy them--order them. It means that each cable we use does not have a custom length. They are usually a bit oversized the way we order them. However, sometimes they are too short and we have to join two cables. That's when we have to use one of these handy gadgets. You can use either the regular RJ45 Couplers or the RJ45 Keystone Couplers for this. It's always great to keep a few on hand.The RJ45 Keystone Couplers are also great for creating a modular hardwired CAT6 network throughout a building. I don't regret buying these and recommend them to friends, but I do deduct a star because you need to add a bit of tape to each one to hold the things together. Great solution and price, but really flimsy.

When you need one of these it's worth it's weight in empty clips that need wires inserted by color code and crimping. I keep some of these around, this was an excellent buy.
