This is printed on the cable I received "RoHS COMPLIANT ENHANCED 550MHZ PATCH CORD E213738-Y 26AWG 4PR CM (UL) C (UL) 60 C VERIFIED ISO/IEC 11801 AND TIA/EIA 568B CAT6A".Thought some of you might like this info.The ends have a metal and plastic clip that work very nice.I'm using this cable to do this review.It was hard to make the decision on which cable to buy because of all the bad reviews across amazon on getting cheap cables I'm glad I went with this cable from "Cable Matters" company.

I needed a cable to run between two separate structures, to hook a computer in one building to a modem in another. I ran it a very long distance -- from the modem, down through the floor, into a sub-floor level, out through a wall, across an open outdoor space, through an attic, and then down through a ceiling. It handled all of that commotion, and so far it's working fine. It seems sturdy, and the price was fair.UPDATE: After more than a year, it's still working fine. Knock on wood. ;-)

I ran 100 ft of this cable to connect my uverse gateway to my NID. I had to cut off both ends to hook it up so I've seen inside of this cable. I can verify that each pair is separately shielded with foil material. Carries network and VoIP with no issues. I can't vouch for the ends since I cut them off, nor can I vouch for CAT6a speeds because I'm using cat5a keystone connectors, and, special ATT-supplied cat5a cables, to complete the connection to my gateway. All in all, though, seems like a high-quality cable.

This 100ft Cat6a cable was shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition. The cable performs as expected. My only gripe about the product is that the cable crimps easily. When unwinding it, I crimped the cable three times while trying to unwind it. I took great care while trying to unwind the cable, but as I stated before, the cable crimps with almost no effort. I am not certain what the long term effects are, however the cable is performing nicely so far. Haven't tested high interference to confirm shielding will hold. For a home network with a long reach requirement, the cable is well priced for what it is.

This is an item that not requires too much description, it works perfectly well, no problem at all. If you need to get wired at this distance, then this is it.

I used this cord for a project in my home. I ran the cord from my upstairs office where my modem resides down into the basement to hook up another computer. The cord is very durable and survived shoving it through the floors, walls and floor jousts. The metal ends really helped in this endeavor. If you are looking for a lot of cord at a reasonable price then this is the right cable for you.
