- Our cables are made of 100% bare copper wire as opposed to copper clad aluminum (CCA) wire, therefore fully compliant with UL Code 444, which require pure bare copper wire in Cat6 communications cables. Our Cat6 patch and bulk cables are used by data centers around the world.

This cable is a pleasure to work with. It was very easy to cut up and install new RJ-45 ends. The thickness of the outer jacket may cause the cable to have a tight fit into your RJ-45 connector when you insert it into the back of the plug but in my case it was extra secure against the strain relief tab. It is real Cat6 with center insulation spline, the outer jacket is very strong and the wires have the correct color code. The wire is actually copper, not copper clad aluminum.

Best quality, durable, price you can't beat - what more could you ask for? This is exactly what we were looking for and it's just as it was described. Pulled (albeit as gently as possible) through two stretches of flexible conduit (a 25' and a 6'), and through the garage, and under the house and up through the floor for retrofit, and WE ARE ON! We could not be happier.The gray color is nicely unobtrusive and the cable actually feels substantial, while still maintaining the desired flexibility. This is a marvelous product.Just to let you know, the first time around we used the less expensive alternative and it failed after an initial success due to our rough treatment during installation. My advice is to do yourself a favor and just get the best quality cable first and skip the aggravation.
