1 out of 5 stars GARBAGE!

Had it worked, the price would have been great, but this cable was dead on arrival. Not worth the effort to return, but Importer520 is now on my list of sources not to use.

1 out of 5 stars DOA
Tyler Myers

I should have known I would have been the minority and gotten a DOA cable. It's a pain, because this cable is 7 dollars, and to return it for a new one would cost me more than to just buy a new one. Now I have to wait another week to complete my setup. Awesome. Thanks Import520. Maybe I'll just spend the extra buck and go to Monoprice.com.

2 out of 5 stars 2 broken spots in the cable

Importer520 50 Foot 50' Cat6 RJ45 Network Ethernet Lan Cable - Blue - 50 ftI was very excited to be able to get a 50' CAT6 cable for my computer. However the cable arrived with 2 spots looking like kinks but feeling broken through the cover. Sure enough the cable would not stay connected BUT when it was connected it was GREAT!

1 out of 5 stars No gigabit, terrible quality.

This cable is garbage. It did not support Gigabit speeds. The wire pairs are barely twisted (like 1 turn per inch or less), the wires themselves are stranded and as thin as angel hair, the jacketing is so stretchy as to be weak, and the jacket was melted away from the ends where the strain relief was molded on. On top of that, if you want to connectorize it the wire colors are not standard (no white stripes, just a white-ish tint, maybe). I replaced it with one from monoprice for essentially the same price and the difference was amazing.

2 out of 5 stars Cat6 cable....Hmmm
Journey

Well I can't say much because mine arrived with the clips broken off in the package. But I would like to point out this IS NOT a snagless cable. So keep that in mind. I figure if they are broken off in the package, it won't take long for them to break off during use.

5 out of 5 stars works perfectly as it should

not much can be said about a network cable. I bought it for one purpose which was to wire the office to the internet instead of having to use wifi. Works perfectly so far.

5 out of 5 stars Best deal compared to any store

The ethernet cord was such a great price, I ordered 2 because I looked in all of the stores and online stores for this item and was discouraged to buy it because of the price. I thought, what if I get home and this doesn't work,I have wasted a lot of money that I don't have to waste. I found this item on Amazon for a fraction of what any store would sell it for. So far, I haven't had any problems with the cord. I am actually surprised that I actually bought a bargain and it works well. I highly recommend this product for anyone.

1 out of 5 stars poor quality... keep looking
Soupy

I was looking for a low cost cat6 cable and purchased this cable. Upon receiving it worked well so i was happy, but then after re-coiling the cable it stopped working. I traced it back to a intermittent connection at the cable to base of the connector (by the strain relief) . If you flex the wire there, the connection on the PC goes in and out and that’s the most likely place for a patch cable to bend!also the jacket is super thin and the plastic will stress (white mark) on the slightest kink or bend.im now looking more carefully for a future cable as this one is junk.
