Just what i neededBig Ed
I was looking for a short cable to go from my cable modem to my router that wasnt 5-6 feet long like my old one. I had a longer cat5 cable connecting the two and it drooped down behind my desk, and not onley did this cable clean up the area behind my desk but its a good quality cat6 cable.Update 4/27/2014. The short snag free cable failed 6 months ago. I thought maybe it was a fluke, but the matching 35 feet long snag free cable also failed this week. Both cables were ok for awhile.

I have bought a bunch of these cables in various lengths and will leave the same review on each of them. What I love about them is the cost and the fact that they are cat6 cables. You can't go to Walmart or Staples and buy a flat cat6 cable for this price. Infact Walmart only sells cat5e in the flat cable. They are able to support gigabit speeds and my entire home network (with the exception of one shielded cat7 cable that goes outside) is running these flat cables. You will notice that there is 2 of each cable listed one is more expensive but free shipping. The other you pay the shipping but the product is cheaper. If you get the one that you pay for the shipping you will save about $1 on each cable, while $1 is not a lot it adds up if you are buying more then one cable.

These little cables are just perfect. Thin, aesthetic, don't bind or tangle. Significantly reduced the clutter behind my entertainment center and it looks clean and tidy now. I use these to connect the NAS as well. Also purchased several shorter ones.

I got a couple of these to connect my router, cable modem, etc. to each other, without having all the extra wire (from 6' cables) all tangled up. Not only are these cables the perfect length, but because of the flat construction they fit smoothly into place, without pulling the boxes at an angle. In short, they work great.
