This one is a cat 6a cable, shielded and very well made. I bought the 75 feet and liked so much that I bought another one and am thinking on buying more just to substitute every ethernet cable I have.This is the cable you want for your 10Giga or 1Giga network. Less interference because they are shielded and fast speeds with low jitters or errors.

I ordered three of these cables: a 100-footer, a 75-footer and a 5-footer. At first I thought the 100-footer wasn't working but then discovered that I had hooked it up incorrectly. After I moved it to the correct port (duh) it worked perfectly! I used these cables to hardwire my home wireless network, running them from my LinkSys wireless router to my computer and blu-ray player. Now my connections are completely reliable and I'm streaming video much faster (went from around 5 to 7 Mbps to 17 to 19 Mbps). I'm pleased!

The cable works great with no problem. Hooking direct with the cable into my samsung tv and the Roku works great and is fast. Iconnect the cable into the router and then brought the cable through the house and then connected it into a Netgear 5port switch, which also works great, and then I plugged the cable into port 5 and then 2 short cables into 2 of the other 4 ports and then one into my Samsung TV and one into my Roku. The new setup is so much better and faster then wireless.

These cat6q cables were shipped quickly and work as they should. The outer plastic sheathing is foil lined and each of the four twisted pairs of wires are also sheathed with foil. One end of each was cut to make the less than 75 foot run that was required and a rj45 connector easily was fixed to the end. I am very happy with these cables.

I needed this type of shielded cable for my main run into the house. The path runs next to a lot of the electric lines coming into the house also and did not want the interference from the power lines.

I walked into a local store and saw some long Cat5e cables, which I picked up for my new network. Then I got on line and saw these Cat6 cables (1GB/sec instead of 100 MB/sec) for less than half the price. Needless to say, I brought back the Cat5e cables and ordered these. They now run my home network - and all my data transfers fly! And I don't worry about them ever breaking - these cables are very well built. Highly recommended!
