Description
Overview
- Cat6a is defined at higher performance than Cat6. Category 6 cable is a cable standard for Gigabit Ethernet and other network protocols. This cable supports up to 600 MHz and is suitable for 1000BASE-T / 1000BASE-TX (Gigabit Ethernet) and 10GBASE-T (10-Gigabit Ethernet).
- Our cables are made of bare copper wire as opposed to copper clad aluminum (CCA) wire. Our Cat6 bulk cables are used by data centers around the world.
- SSTP/SFTP: Foiled and screen shielded cabling between individual pairs and four pairs as a whole can prevent electromagnetic interference.

Customer Reviews
Best Ethernet Wire I have ever usedJ. Dueck
The CAT6a 1000ft SSTP 23AWG cable comes as advertised. The only thing I did not expect was that due to the extra thickness of twisted pairs (each pair is foil shielded) and the light weave braided sheild, there is no internal spacer. I tend to think of the braided whole-cable shield more like a fancy drain wire that contacts all 4 foil shields across the whole length of the run. It's not a heavy duty braid by any means, but it doesn't need to be and serves to make the cable manageable. This cable is thick! I am glad that it comes on a spool, because such thick cable would never work in a standard Ethernet cable box. One reviewer of the CableMatters blue cable complained that the CAT6a solid SSTP cable would not fit in his RJ45 tips. I don't know if they were talking about the keystone jacks, or the patch cord tips. Do not try and use this cable as a patch cord! First of all, patch cords should always be made from stranded wire, not solid. Second of all, the cable is too thick to attempt this anyway. I haven't installed the cable yet, but I did inspect it. As stated in another review, the white wires are not striped. Since this cable is meant for IDC punchdown blocks or keystone IDC punchdown jacks, I don't see this as a negative. Most Keystone jacks don't require you to split any of the pairs anymore, so there is not really any difficulty in keeping track of the white wires.
Works greatB. Tiedt
The cable was well labeled, easy to to work with, and provides the necessary shielding/speed required for our installation (long distance HDMI).
PERFECTO!Sonic Brain
