Will Never Go Back to Any Other CablesSam Brady
I am a novice between intermediate home networker, who has always tinkered with computers and software and finally plunged into the networking space. I finally upgraded my hardware to a Gigabit wireless router, added a Gigabit network switch, and needed short-length high-quality Cat 6 patch cables, as the entire house is already wired with Cat 5e and I wanted to maximize my resources. Quality was the number 1 factor in finding these cables, but to be honest with you color-coordination in the future was another reason. I got annoyed looking at the 'patchwork' fashion of my network station, with varied color/varied length cables running amok in spite of all my efforts to organize with zip ties and cords.The reviews on Amazon for these cables were very convincing, and at that price point I decided why not and bought the multi-pack. I have had them installed for several weeks now, and I ended up using the leftover cables to connect to the other ethernet jacks in the house. I am never looking back. The 1-ft cables work perfectly in the networking area, but for the rest of the house I want to buy some 3ft, and 6ft cables, so that I have uniform high-quality Cat 6 cables everywhere, and they will all be this great, unobtrusive grey color.Thank you so much to this seller - will buy again!
