Category 6 cable, commonly referred to as Cat6, is a cable standard for Gigabit Ethernet and other network protocols. This cable provides performance of up to 550 MHz and is suitable for 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX (Fast Ethernet), 1000BASE-T / 1000BASE-TX (Gigabit Ethernet) and 10GBASE-T (10-Gigabit Ethernet). This unshielded cable comes in its own spool box and is connector free, giving the user the freedom to customize the length, wiring, and application.
Please note this is "home grade" Cat6 style cable made from CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum) if you need "commercial grade" then you will need Cat6 cable made from pure copper.

This cable works well. There is a support "bone" (plastic piece) that runs inside the cable. When attaching a head this "bone" has to be cut down. The cable is not as flexible as standard Cay 5/6 cable because of the "bone" and it has a thick PVC coating on it. Not as bad as coax but close.

Wow! Not only is this cable very high quality, but I love that it comes in a box so it's super easy to pull. I'm building a new house right now, and this cable was very easy to pull through my walls and under my floor. I pulled 6 cables to my office, one to my living room tv and 2 others to my back bedroom for future use. The cable is very nice, and I'd highly recommend it. It has a really sturdy insulation around it and seems like it could take quite a beating.

Extremely hard to work with.Joele
Extremely hard to work with and I have not had good results in making true Cat6 cables. When connected to the our switch it will only connect at 100 mbps, not 1000. NOT happy. I have worked with a lot of cable, but this is the most rigid, stiff and hard to put connectors on that I have ever used.
