Good CableD. Weber
The cable works great and haven't had any problems after running it . . . That said however that plastic shield thing in the center (which I guess is standard fare for cat6 so isn't unique to this cable) is a PAIN to work with! Once I figured out how to get it out of the way when putting the ends on though it wasn't so bad.I cut four slits at the end of the cable then dug in with scissors to cut the inner-center shielding down farther which made it easy to position the cable correct for the RJ-45 ends.

Good cable that feeds cleanly out of the box and is clearly marked in one-foot increments for easy measuring. Couldn't give it a 5 star rating because of the lightness of the coloring on the striped wires. Once you separate the twisted pairs, finding the blue/white vs the green/white cable is a bit of a challenge if you didn't keep them close to their mate.

Description says 24awg, label on the box says 23awg. Don't know which is right. Still fits in the platinum ez-rj45 cat6+ connectors though tight so no biggie and probably slightly better transmission on the larger gauge wires.
GREAT for a long run!Courtney M
I read many sites trying to select the best cable for running an extremely long run of Ethernet. We have a very long 600ft driveway and we wanted Ethernet from the house down to the road for automated gate controls as well as an IP camera. If you read cat6 guides, they will tell you that you should not run over 300ft because of reliability and packet collision. We ran this stuff 700ft because it had to go down to the poll from the house and then back up to the gate. Believe it or not, it not only worked flawlessly on both runs, but it also allowed us the same exact upload speeds as we would get sitting in our family room. Download speed was compromised by about 50%, but we have very high speeds as it is and nothing more is needed. VERY pleased. I would recommend this cable to anyone, especially someone looking to run this stuff longer than recommended.

great cable good tested speed also
Cable is good quality, but packaging is mediocre.Gary W
I purchased two of these to do a house wiring install. They at first had some problems when spooling out, the downspout that goes into the spool was broken and I had to fiddle with the cable to prevent it from kinking up for the first couple hundred feet. Other than that, no complaints.
